Monirul Hoque coordinates IRFF’s work in Bangladesh. Before joining UNDP, he worked for 10 years at BRAC, Bangladesh’s largest NGO, where he led BRAC’s largest microinsurance portfolio, advocated for women’s financial resilience leading to insurance pilot initiatives, and developed businesses, particularly in remote branches. He was also responsible for designing and implementing several financial resilience building initiatives. Previously, he worked for Aga Khan and Grameenphone. Monir holds a graduate degree in Business Administration.
