Jan Kellett

Jan Kellett leads UNDP’s work across insurance and risk finance, which includes the creation and leadership of the IRFF. He co-chairs the Insurance Development Forum’s operational committee, is UNDP’s Senior Representative to the InsuResilience Global Partnership and co-created the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance. Previously, he was Programme Leader for Global Humanitarian Assistance at Development Initiatives, a Senior Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute and led UNDP’s climate, disaster and energy external engagement. He has lived and worked in more than 10 developing countries and has a background and experience in both media and finance.
